HKMAC AI is a Hong Kong-based AI configuration service. We install, optimise, and configure a comprehensive suite of open-source AI tools on Apple Silicon Macs so they run 100% locally — no cloud, no subscriptions, complete privacy.

We offer two service models: pre-configured AI Mac bundles ready to use out of the box, and BYOM (Bring Your Own Mac) upgrade services where we transform your existing Mac into a powerful local AI workstation.

Any Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 chip or later) is compatible with our AI services. This includes:

• MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (M1 and later)
• Mac Studio (M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, M2 Ultra, M4 Max)
• iMac and Mac Pro with Apple Silicon

We recommend 16GB RAM as a comfortable minimum. 32GB or more is ideal for professional workloads such as running larger language models, image generation, and multi-tool workflows simultaneously.

Our standard turnaround is 3 days from drop-off to collection. This includes:

BYOM stands for Bring Your Own Mac. Instead of purchasing a new pre-configured bundle, you bring us your existing Apple Silicon Mac and we install, configure, and optimise our full AI suite on it.

BYOM is available in three tiers:

• Essential — Core AI tools with 30 days post-setup support
• Pro — Full AI suite with 90 days support
• Enterprise — Custom configuration with 90 days priority support and advanced optimisations

No. All core AI tools and models run completely offline once installed. Your Mac can generate text, transcribe audio, create images, and process documents without any internet connection.

Internet is only needed for optional activities:

• Downloading new or updated AI models from Ollama or Hugging Face
• Receiving software updates for the installed AI tools
• Accessing our remote support during your support period

Every HKMAC AI service includes post-setup support. The duration depends on your tier:

• Essential — 30 days of support for troubleshooting and basic guidance
• Pro — 90 days of support including model recommendations and workflow advice
• Enterprise — 90 days of priority support with custom configurations and dedicated assistance
